Data I Collected
Data I collected Related to Stem Cells
As you entered my site, a counter which you may have noticed checked you off as visiting my website. The more people that visit my site, the more people learn about stem cells! The sheets on stem cell research I put at different locations as I said in my community involvement were surprisingly all taken by visitors meaning I have interested many people in stem cells. Posting my link on certain forums over the Internet assited others in need as well. The first forum I posted my link on deleted my threads for intentional spamming although I must have just made one too many threads regarding my website. The second forum I posted my website's link on was a little more generous because they deleted two of my threads but they kept one. Finally, the Google Community Forum gave me the most hits on my website; I even got a reply!!! I have been receving many emails already; getting feedback from my community members. Click here to check that section out. As for my other data, it all depends on my counter which to my advantage, keeps increasing over time. In addition to all of this, I also sent a letter to Congressman David Wu asking him is opinion on stem cell research. This was not only involving the community, but also getting his opnion which was helpful data. Click here to see his reply. My website has assisted others in learning about stem cells and I am even considering sending my website to the sites that I went for research and asking them about even making it permanent because it is a great resource to learn about stem cells! Finally, I created a survey to see what people thought of stem cell research. My survey consisted of two questions. The first one was whether stem cell research should be made completely legal. The second one was whether cloning should be made legal. My results were interesting and didn't seem biased from the looks of it. A total of 65 people answered to my survey. In the stem cells question, 68% said that it should be made legal while 32% said it should be made illegal. In the cloning question, my results were almost the same so 66% said it should be made legal while 34% said it shouldn't. Click here to take my survey.
